Lala Tulpan, Russia

The mosque under caption is a small mosque and can accommodate about 1,000 Muslims at one time. It was constructed in the city of Ufa Russia.  The mosque was architecturally designed by the Russian architect Wakil Davlyatshi. The architect gave the mosque a modern look according to the prevailing traditions in the region and in Russia itself.

The architect has designed the minarets in the shape of Tulips to give a new and attractive look. These types of minarets are new in shape which are eye catching. Since the mosque is small in size, therefore the two tulip type minarets are more than enough. The height of each is 53 meters

The construction of the mosque was started in 1990 and was completed in 1998.
